Your logo, colours and contact details
Set the logo, favicon and app icon, your brand colours, the contact email and phone buyers see, the announcement bar, and the business name and address payment gateways check.
What the Branding page is for
Branding is how your store looks and how buyers reach you. What you save here shows on your website header, your About and Contact pages, the browser tab and the icon on a buyer's phone when they install your store.
The card at the top is a small preview: your logo (or the first letter of your store name) on your primary colour.
Everything on this page saves together with the "Save branding" button at the bottom. The one exception is "Scroll the announcement": it is a switch and saves the moment you flip it.
- You need the "Manage settings" permission to open this page. Without it you see "No access to branding settings".
- Store name is not here. Change it in Settings → Store identity.
- Fonts, corner shapes and the full colour palette are on Settings → Theme. Card style, reviews and the WhatsApp button are on Settings → Storefront display.
Set up your brand in 5 steps
- 1
Add your logo
Logo & icons → Logo
Upload a file, drag it in, paste it, or paste an https:// link to it. A PNG or SVG with a transparent background works best.
Leave Favicon and Install icon empty if you like. They use your logo.
- 2
Pick your primary colour
Brand colors → Primary color
Use the colour picker, or type a hex code like #4f46e5. The preview card at the top changes as you type.
Colours must be 6-digit hex values like #4f46e5. A short code like #fff is refused.
- 3
Fill in how buyers reach you
Store contact
Type a contact email and phone. They show on your About and Contact pages. Save the phone with the country code, for example +91 98765 43210, so the WhatsApp button works.
- 4
Write a tagline and an offer (optional)
Storefront content
The tagline is one short line under your store name and in Google results. The announcement bar is a strip at the top of every page, for example "Free shipping on orders over ₹999".
- 5
Press "Save branding"
You see "Branding saved." Open your website to check it. The new logo and colours show on the next page load.
Logo, favicon and install icon
Logo shows in your website header. If you have no logo, the header shows your store name as text.
Favicon is the small icon in the browser tab and bookmarks. Install icon is the large (512px) icon a buyer sees on their phone after they install your store as an app. Both fall back to your logo when empty.
Every image field takes an upload or an https:// link. A link that starts with http:// (no s) is refused.
- Logo already has your store name in it? Turn off "Show store name beside logo" in Settings → Storefront display, so the name doesn't show twice.
- About page photo is a wide brand photo shown at the top of your About page. Leave it empty for text only.
Which colour does what
Primary color is your brand colour. Buttons, links and highlights on your website use it.
Theme color is the colour of the phone's top bar and app switcher when a buyer opens your installed store. Background color is the splash screen colour while the installed app opens.
Settings → Theme also has a "Primary / buttons" colour. If you fill that in, it wins over the Primary color here. Leave it blank on the Theme page to use this one.
Contact details buyers see
Contact email and Contact phone show on your About and Contact pages. Leave one empty to hide it.
The floating WhatsApp button (Settings → Storefront display) uses this phone number. Order alert emails go to this email when you haven't set other alert emails.
Support URL is an optional link to your own help site. It must start with https://.
The announcement bar
Type up to 160 characters and a strip appears across the top of every page of your website. Buyers can close it. Leave it empty to hide the bar.
Announcement link is optional. Use a store path like /deals, or a full https:// link.
Several offers? Separate them with | or •, for example "Free delivery above ₹999 | COD available | New Diwali stock". Then switch on "Scroll the announcement" and they move across one after another. That switch saves straight away; the text still needs "Save branding".
Business details for payment gateways
Razorpay and Cashfree check that your website shows your registered business name and address before they switch on online payments. Fill in "Legal business name" and "Registered address" and they show on your website.
Type the name exactly as registered, for example on your GST certificate or bank account. The address can have up to 8 lines and 300 characters.
Both are optional. Leave them empty to hide them. A name or address that is too long is refused, not cut short.
