- Do I still need Instagram if I have a store?
- Yes. Instagram is where people discover you; the store is where they buy. Keep posting reels and stories, and send every buyer to the store link instead of into a DM negotiation.
- How much does it cost?
- You can try Slaby with a 14-day free trial, no card needed. After that the Lite plan is ₹299 a month for up to 20 products on a Slaby subdomain, and Slaby takes 0% commission on your orders. - Does the money come to me or to Slaby?
- To you. UPI to your own UPI ID lands in your bank straight away; payments through your own Razorpay or Cashfree account settle to your bank on the gateway's schedule. Slaby never holds your money.
- Can buyers pay by UPI?
- Yes, two ways. Straight to your own UPI ID: checkout shows a QR and an 'open UPI app' button with the exact amount, the buyer sends the 12-digit UTR or a screenshot, and you approve the order after checking your bank app. Or through your own Razorpay or Cashfree checkout, which confirms payment automatically.
- Do my buyers need to create an account?
- Not to track an order: buyers enter the order number and their phone on your store's tracking page. To check out, buyers sign in with Google in one tap today; checkout with just a phone number and an SMS code is built and rolling out.
- Can I offer cash on delivery?
- Yes. You can turn COD on or off, set a minimum and maximum order value, limit it to pincodes you trust, cap how much one buyer can have pending in COD, or ask for part of the amount online as an advance.
- I sell one-of-a-kind pieces. Will two people buy the same item?
- Track its stock and set it to 1. The unit is held the moment an order is placed, so a second buyer cannot check out the same piece; it goes back on sale if that order is cancelled.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes, on Starter and above. Lite stores use a Slaby subdomain such as yourshop.slaby.in with a small platform badge.
- Can my store be in Hindi?
- Yes. The storefront interface is available in English and Hindi; your product names and descriptions are whatever you write.
- What if I already use another store builder?
