An Instagram bio shop link is one URL that takes followers straight to something they can buy.
Instagram gives you one clickable link in your bio. Most sellers spend it on a page of buttons that sends people back into posts or into DMs, which is the slow part all over again.
Spend it on a store instead. One address, every product behind it, and the order arrives with the payment, size and address already filled in.
What your one bio link can open
| Question | A button page | A store link |
|---|---|---|
| Taps to see a price | Two or three, often ending in 'DM for price' | One — the price is on the product |
| Works when you are asleep | No, someone has to reply | Yes, buyers check out on their own |
| Shareable product links | Links to posts, which do not have a buy button | Every product has its own link you can paste in a reply |
| Looks like your brand | The tool's design with your photo | Your logo, colours and fonts |
| Shows what is sold out | No | Yes, per size and colour |
| Search engines | One thin page | A page per product, listed in your sitemap |
Make the bio link work harder
- Use the store's home page as the bio link, not a single product
- Name the link in your bio text: 'Shop all designs ↓' tells people what the tap does
- Create a 'Shop' story highlight with a link sticker to the store
- Pin a post that explains how to order: tap the bio link, pick, pay
- Reply to product questions with that product's own link
- Add the same link to your WhatsApp Business profile
- Print it on the card inside every parcel
What you get
A short, memorable address
Your store lives at yourshop.slaby.in on every plan. On Starter and above, connect a domain you own, such as yourshop.in.

Every store has a /links page made for phones: your logo, Shop all, WhatsApp, Track my order and Instagram buttons, plus products you pin. Bio visits are tagged so you can see them in your reports.

How to set up your Instagram bio shop link
Create the store
Start the free trial and choose your store name — it becomes your link, so keep it close to your Instagram handle.
Add at least your current collection
Upload what is in stock now with prices. You can add older designs later; an empty category looks worse than a short one.
Check the store on your phone
Open the link on your own phone the way a follower would and buy something small to test the checkout end to end.
Edit your Instagram profile
In Instagram, open Edit profile → Links → Add external link, paste the store address and give it a title such as 'Shop'.
Say what the link does in your bio
Add a short line above it: what you sell, that you ship across India, and 'order from the link below'.
Add a Shop highlight
Post a story with a link sticker pointing to the store and save it to a highlight so it stays on your profile.
Answer comments with product links
When someone asks 'price?' under a post, reply with the price and that product's link, and they can buy in one tap.
Questions sellers ask
- What is an Instagram bio shop link?
- It is the one clickable link on your Instagram profile, pointed at a page where people can actually buy. When that page is a full store, followers can browse, choose a size and pay without messaging you.
- How do I add a shop link to my Instagram bio?
- Open your profile, tap Edit profile, then Links → Add external link. Paste your store address, give it a short title like 'Shop', and save. It shows under your bio for everyone.
- Is a link-in-bio tool the same as a store?
- No. A link-in-bio tool shows a list of buttons; each still leads somewhere else to buy. A store has the products, prices, stock and checkout behind that one link — and on Slaby, its /links page gives you the button list as well, inside the store.
- Can I link one product instead of the whole store?
- You can, but the home page is usually better in the bio because it always shows what is new. Use single product links in comment replies, stories and DMs.
- Will the link change if I move to my own domain later?
- Your Slaby subdomain keeps working. When your own domain goes live you can send visitors from the Slaby link to it automatically, so old links in posts and stories still reach the store.
- Does the bio link work in stories and reels?
- Stories can carry a link sticker to the store or a product. Reels and posts cannot hold clickable links, which is why the bio link and the 'link in bio' line matter.
- Can I see how many people came from my bio link?
- Add a Google Analytics or Meta Pixel ID in the store's integrations to see visits by source. Using a different link for the bio than for stories helps you tell them apart.
- Is the store link included in the plan?
- Yes. Every plan, starting with Lite at ₹299 a month, includes a store on a Slaby subdomain. A domain of your own needs Starter (₹799 a month) or above.
