Set delivery charges, delivery times and where you deliver
Set the standard shipping charge and free-shipping amount, an optional express option, the delivery estimate and pincodes you serve, checkout and stock rules, and connect Shiprocket or Borzo.
What this page is for
This page decides what buyers pay for delivery on your website, how fast you promise it, which pincodes you deliver to, and a few checkout and stock rules. At the bottom you can connect your own Shiprocket or Borzo account.
Switches and lists save the moment you change them. Money, number and text boxes have their own Save button. Reset puts a setting back to its default.
- You need the "Manage settings" permission.
- Cash on delivery has its own page: Settings → Cash on delivery. The "Failed deliveries" link at the top opens parcels that couldn't be delivered.
Set up delivery in 5 steps
- 1
Type your standard shipping charge
Standard shipping → Standard shipping charge
For example ₹79. Press Save. 0 means standard shipping is free.
- 2
Set a free-shipping amount (optional)
Free standard shipping above
For example ₹999. Orders at or above it, after discounts, ship free on standard. Leave it empty to always charge.
- 3
Say how long delivery takes
Standard delivery time
Type "5–8 days". Buyers see it next to the standard option at checkout.
- 4
Limit the pincodes you deliver to (optional)
Delivery estimate & area → Pincodes you deliver to
Add the starting digits of pincodes you serve, for example 302 for Jaipur. Leave empty to deliver everywhere.
- 5
Place a test order
Open your website, add an item and go to checkout. Check the charge and the delivery date buyers see.
What buyers pay: an example
- Standard charge ₹79, free above ₹999, cart ₹650
- Standard: ₹79
- Same, cart ₹1,200
- Standard: free
- Express charge ₹99, cart ₹650, "Express = standard + express" off
- Express: ₹99
- Same, but "Express = standard + express" on
- Express: ₹79 + ₹99 = ₹178
- Same switch on, cart ₹1,200
- Express: ₹99 (standard part is free)
Free shipping applies to standard only. Express is always charged.
Express delivery
Switch on "Offer express delivery" to show a second, faster, paid option at checkout. Set the "Express delivery charge", a name like "Express (Air)" and a delivery time like "2–3 days".
"Show delivery time as": Date shows "Delivery by Tue, 27 Oct", worked out from the delivery time you typed. Days shows the text as you typed it, for example "7–9 days".
Delivery estimate and pincodes
"Show delivery estimate" lets buyers type their pincode on a product page and see an estimated delivery date. "Delivery estimate — from" and "— up to" set the days shown, 2 to 5 by default.
"Pincodes you deliver to" takes the starting digits of pincodes, for example 56 or 110. When a buyer checks a pincode on a product page, it must start with one of them to show as deliverable. Leave it empty to deliver everywhere.
This list drives the pincode check buyers see. It doesn't block checkout by itself, so mention your delivery area in your shipping policy too.
Checkout and stock rules
- Require a delivery address: buyers must save an address to order. Turn off only if you arrange delivery by phone.
- Minimum order value: orders below it can't be placed. 0 means no minimum.
- Maximum quantity per item: the most of one product in one order, 200 by default, unless the product sets its own limit.
- Low-stock alert level: an item is Low at this many pieces or fewer, 5 by default.
- Track stock quantities: one stock for your counter and website. Orders take pieces off and Status follows the count. See the Stock guide.
- Hold stock when an order is placed: pieces come off the moment an order is placed, so two buyers can't buy the last piece. They go back if the order is cancelled, rejected or expires.
- Dead stock after (days) and Reorder lead time (days): used by Stock insights.
- Abandoned-cart reminder after: hours before a buyer who agreed to marketing emails gets one reminder about their cart.
Courier accounts: Shiprocket and Borzo
Connect your own courier account to book pickups from the order screen. Typing a courier and tracking number by hand keeps working as before.
Shiprocket ships anywhere in India through couriers like Delhivery, Blue Dart and Xpressbees. In Shiprocket, create an API user (Settings → API). Enter its API user email and password here, and optionally the Pickup location name exactly as named in Shiprocket. Press Save, then "Test connection".
Borzo is same-day bike delivery in your city. Enter the API token from your Borzo business account, choose Live or Test, and a pickup address and phone. Leave the address blank to use the business address from Branding.
Passwords and tokens are saved hidden. Leave a hidden box blank to keep what is saved. "Disconnect" deletes the saved details and the Book buttons disappear; parcels already booked keep their tracking numbers.
Live tracking updates
Once a courier is connected, a "Live tracking updates" box shows a Webhook URL. Paste it in the courier's settings so delivery status updates here by itself.
For Shiprocket, press "Create token", copy the token straight away (it isn't shown again) and paste it in Shiprocket → Settings → API → Webhooks with the URL.
For Borzo, set the callback URL in Borzo's integration settings, turn on delivery callbacks and paste Borzo's callback secret key in "Callback secret key".
"Replace token" stops the old one Replacing the Shiprocket token makes the old token stop working at once. Paste the new token in Shiprocket straight away, or tracking updates stop coming in.
