Check that your store's emails are going out
See which email service sends your receipts, password resets and order alerts, and send yourself a test. If it fails, the page shows the mail server's exact reply and what it usually means.
What this page is for
Your store sends emails for you: order receipts, invoice copies, password resets and your own order alerts. This page shows the service that sends them and lets you test it.
The email service is set up by Slaby, not by you, so there is nothing to type here. If the test fails, share the error with Slaby support.
You need the Manage settings permission.

Sent to … means the service accepted it. If it doesn't arrive within a minute or two, check your spam folder.
The send failed shows the mail server's exact reply, with a line under it saying what usually causes it.

Emails landing in spam? Ask your buyers and team to mark one email as Not spam and add the sender to contacts. Later emails then reach the inbox.

Common questions
- My buyers say they didn't get their receipt.
- Send a test here first. If the test arrives, ask the buyer to check spam and the email address on their order.
- Can I send emails from my own Gmail or domain?
- No. Emails are sent by the service Slaby sets up, with your store's name as the sender. Replies come to your contact email.
- The test failed. What do I do?
- Copy the error shown and send it to Slaby support. The line under it says what usually causes it.
- Where do replies to my store's emails go?
- To the contact email in Settings → Branding.
- It says No email channel.
- Email isn't set up for your store yet, so nothing is delivered. Write to Slaby support.
- Is there a limit on how many emails I can send?
- Your plan includes a number each month. Going over never blocks emails; see the usage card on Billing & plan.
- Can I send the test to another address?
- No. It always goes to the email of the person tapping the button, so it can't be used to email anyone else.
- The test arrived but order alerts don't.
- Check Order alerts: Email me every new order must be on, and the address must be in Order alert emails (or that list empty).
