Be found by new buyers in cross-store discovery
List your products in the marketplace so new trade buyers find your store, send your retail catalogue to Google Shopping, and group your categories under shared marketplace buckets.
What this page is for
This page has three parts. "List on the marketplace" puts your active products in the public cross-store marketplace. "Google Merchant Center" gives you a feed link for Google Shopping. "Marketplace category mapping" decides under which shared category each of your categories appears.
Listing is off when you start; switch it on to appear. Shoppers see your product name, photo, retail price and MRP, with your store name and city. Wholesale prices never show: trade buyers open your store and ask for access to see them.
- You need the "Manage settings" permission to open this page.
Get listed in 4 steps
- 1
Switch on "List on the marketplace"
It saves at once. You see "Your store is now listed on the marketplace."
- 2
Check your category mapping
Marketplace category mapping
Each of your categories shows where it lands, for example "Automatic → Mobile Accessories". If it says "Automatic → no match" or the guess is wrong, pick the right bucket from the list. It saves at once.
- 3
Copy the Google Merchant Center feed (optional)
Google Merchant Center → Copy
Press Copy next to the feed link. The card shows how many products are eligible.
- 4
Add the feed in Merchant Center
In Google Merchant Center
Go to Products → Feeds → Add feed, choose "Scheduled fetch", paste the link and set a daily fetch. Verify your store's website address in Merchant Center so Google credits the listings to you.
Merchant Center guide
Listing on the marketplace
When on, your active products appear in the marketplace for new trade buyers to discover. Turn it off to be "Removed from the marketplace."
Wholesale prices never show in the marketplace. A buyer who wants prices opens your store and requests access there.
Google Merchant Center
The feed link carries your retail catalogue for Google Shopping. Only open retail prices go in it. Trade prices can never appear in it.
A product is eligible when it is active, has a retail price and is listed on the marketplace. The card says how many are eligible now.
Not listed yet? The card says "Your store isn't opted into the marketplace yet". Turn on listing above and retail-priced products flow into the feed.
- For Instagram, Facebook and Google from your own store address, use Settings → Sales channels instead. That feed works whether or not you list on the marketplace.
Marketplace category mapping
The marketplace groups every store's products under shared buckets, like Mobile Accessories, Audio, Wearables or Home & Appliances, so buyers can filter across stores.
Automatic guesses the bucket from your category's name. The grey line under a category shows the guess. Pick a bucket to fix it; pick Automatic to go back to the guess. You see "Mapped to …" or "Reverted to automatic mapping."
No categories yet? The card says "Add categories to your catalogue to map them to marketplace buckets." Add them in Categories first.

Common questions
- Will other stores or buyers see my wholesale prices?
- No. The marketplace shows retail prices and MRP only. Wholesale prices stay locked on your store until you approve the buyer.
- How do buyers from the marketplace reach me?
- They click through to your store, see your products and request access for prices.
- Why does my feed say no products are eligible?
- Products need to be active, have a retail price and be listed on the marketplace. Check that listing is on and your products have a retail price.
- My category shows "Automatic → no match".
- The name didn't match any bucket. Pick the right bucket from the list next to it.
- How do I stop being listed?
- Switch off "List on the marketplace". You see "Removed from the marketplace."
- Is this the same as the Instagram & Facebook feed?
- No. That feed is in Settings → Sales channels and comes from your own store address. This page's feed is for the marketplace and Google Shopping.
- Can wholesale prices end up on Google Shopping?
- No. Only open retail prices go in the feed.
- How often does Google read the feed?
- As often as you set it in Merchant Center. Set a daily fetch.
