Print price and barcode stickers
Pick products, choose an A4 sticker sheet or a thermal roll, set copies and print from your browser. Products without a barcode get one in a click, so every sticker scans at the counter.
What the Print labels page is for
It prints price and barcode stickers for the products you select. It prints from your browser on any printer: A4 sticker sheets on a normal printer, or a thermal label printer with a roll.
Each sticker can show the product name, its size or colour, the price, the MRP, your store name and a barcode. The counter's scanner reads the barcode to add the item to a bill.
- You need "View products" to print.
- Generating barcodes and remembering your layout need "Edit products" too.
Print your first labels in 5 steps
- 1
Select the products
Products
Tick the box on each product you want stickers for, then click "Print labels" in the bar above the list. Every size or colour of a selected product gets its own line.
- 2
Choose the layout
Layout
Pick the sticker sheet or roll you bought, for example "A4 sheet, 24 labels (3 × 8)" or "Thermal roll, 50 × 25 mm". The preview below changes straight away.
- 3
Set what each label shows
Switch Store name, Price and MRP on or off. On an A4 sheet you have already used, type how many stickers are gone in "Labels already used on the sheet" so printing starts on the next free one.
- 4
Set the copies
Items and copies
Type how many stickers you need of each item, for example 12 for 12 pieces. To give every item the same number, type it next to "Set all" and click "Set all". 0 skips an item.
- 5
Print
Click "Print N labels". In the print dialog, for A4 choose A4 paper, Margins: None and Scale: 100%. For a roll, pick your label printer, the paper size shown on the screen and Margins: None.
If the stickers print out of line, the print dialog is scaling the page. Set Scale to 100% and Margins to None.
What each setting means
- Layout
- The sticker sheet or roll size. Four A4 sheets (14, 21, 24 or 40 labels) and three thermal rolls. Your choice is remembered for the next time.e.g. A4 sheet, 40 labels (4 × 10)
- Labels already used on the sheet
- Only for A4 sheets. Printing starts after this many stickers, so a part-used sheet isn't wasted.e.g. 9 — the first 9 stickers are already peeled off.
- Store name
- Prints your store's name on each label.e.g. On
- Price
- Prints the selling price: the Retail price of the product or size, or its MRP when there is no Retail price.e.g. ₹450
- MRP (when higher than the price)
- Also prints the MRP, but only when it is higher than the price. Needs Price on.e.g. MRP ₹599
- Copies
- How many stickers to print for this item, 0 to 500.e.g. 12
- Set all
- Gives every item the same number of copies in one click.e.g. Type 2, click Set all.
Items without a barcode
Each item line shows its barcode. An item without one shows "no barcode, prints the SKU": its sticker prints the SKU instead, which a scanner can't use at the counter.
Click "Generate missing barcodes" to give every selected item a barcode. "Generate for all products" does the same for your whole catalogue. You can also do it from the Products list with "Generate barcodes".
Generated barcodes are 13-digit codes that start with 2, the range shops use for their own items, so they never clash with a maker's barcode. They are saved on the product and never change, even if you change the SKU.
Products that already have a maker's barcode (EAN / UPC) keep it, and their stickers print that code.
- One run gives up to 500 barcodes. If it says "Run it again for the rest", click the button again.
- To type your own barcode instead, open the product and fill in Barcode.
Limits
- Up to 200 products at a time. With more selected, the page says "Showing labels for the first 200 selected products."
- Up to 500 copies of one item.
- Up to 2,000 labels in one print. Print the rest separately.
- The preview shows the first few pages only; the print has them all.
Test on plain paper first Print one page on plain paper and hold it against your sticker sheet. If it lines up, load the stickers and print for real. This saves a sheet when the printer settings are off.

Common questions
- The page says "No products selected". What do I do?
- Go to Products, tick the products you want, then click "Print labels" in the bar above the list.
- Which printer do I need?
- Any printer that prints from your browser. Use A4 sticker sheets on a normal printer, or a thermal label printer with a 50 × 25 mm, 38 × 25 mm or 58 mm roll.
- Why are my labels out of line on the sheet?
- The print dialog is scaling or adding margins. Choose A4 paper, Margins: None and Scale: 100%, and pick the layout that matches your sheet.
- Which price is printed?
- The Retail price of the product or size (its MRP if it has no Retail price). The MRP prints too when it is higher and "MRP (when higher than the price)" is on.
- Will a generated barcode scan at my counter?
- Yes. It is a standard 13-digit EAN barcode that every USB scanner and phone camera reads.
- Can I use the barcodes already printed on the packs?
- Yes. Type or scan the code into the product's Barcode field. Its stickers then print that code, and the counter finds the item by it.
- I used half an A4 sheet. Can I print on the rest?
- Yes. Type how many stickers are used in "Labels already used on the sheet". Printing starts on the next free sticker.
- Why can't I see "Generate missing barcodes"?
- Generating barcodes needs the "Edit products" permission. Ask the store owner to add it to your role.
