Import has two tabs. Products reads a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file and creates or updates products. Images uploads many photos at once and attaches each one to the right product by its file name.
Open it with the Import button on the Products page. It is easiest on a computer; the button is hidden on phones.
Import → Products → "Download template / current products"
You get a CSV of your current products with every column. "Download as Excel" gives the same as an .xlsx file. Fill it in Excel or Google Sheets, one product per row.
Drag the file onto the box, or click "Choose file". CSV and .xlsx both work. Your column names don't have to match exactly; common names like Price, MRP or Item code are read for you.
Map columns
Each product field shows which column of your file feeds it. Fix any wrong match, or pick "— not mapped —" to skip a field. Name, Category and Wholesale price are marked * because new products need them.
Without a SKU column, every row is a new product, so Name, Category and Wholesale price must be mapped.

The boxes show how many rows will Create, Update, or have Errors. Each row says what will happen and why a row has an error. Switch on "Create missing categories" or "Create missing brands" if your file has new ones.
The button says how many rows will be written, for example "Import 240 rows". Rows with errors are skipped. When it finishes you see how many were created, updated or failed, with the reason for each failed row.
Only map the columns you have. A blank cell in Quantity, Barcode, Show online or Cost price leaves that value unchanged.
Write one row per size per colour, the way most stock sheets already are. Rows with the same SKU (or the same name, when there is no SKU) become one product with one variant per row.
Example: three rows "Cotton kurta, Red, S", "Cotton kurta, Red, M" and "Cotton kurta, Red, L" become one Cotton kurta with sizes S, M and L.
Product details like Description and Category come from the first row of the group. Prices, Quantity and Barcode are read per row.
Download your current products, change the cells you want (for example the Retail price column), and import the file back. Rows are matched by SKU, so don't change the SKU column.
You can import only the columns you are changing, as long as SKU is there. For example a file with just SKU and Retail price updates retail prices and leaves everything else as it is.
A large file imports in parts. If the internet drops, the import pauses and shows "Resume". Click it to carry on from the part that stopped.
An import has no undo Updated products keep the new values. Before a big update, click "Download template / current products" and keep that file. If something goes wrong, import it back to restore the old values.
P231-1.jpg is the main photo of SKU P231, P231-2.jpg the second. For a product with colours, add the colour: P216-1-Powder Blue.jpg shows only when a buyer picks Powder Blue.
Videos work the same way (MP4 or WebM): P231-5.mp4 becomes slide 5 of P231.
Import → Images → "Choose images" or "Choose a folder"
Up to 500 files in one go. Slaby matches each file to a product and shows how many matched and which did not.
iPhone HEIC photos can't be read by browsers. Export them as JPG first.
"Replace these products' current photos" off: the new photos are added after the ones already there. On: each product in this batch shows only these photos.
