Find and change any setting in your store
One page with every setting, grouped by what you want to do: store, selling, storefront, payments and tax, team and security, and developer tools. Search finds any single setting by name.
What the settings page is for
Settings decides how your store works: what buyers pay for delivery, which payments you take, your GST details, who on your team can do what, and much more.
Every setting has one home page. The settings page is the map: cards grouped by topic, and a search box that finds any single setting by its name.
To open this page you need the View dashboard permission. Most cards then need Manage settings. Team needs Manage users, Roles & permissions needs Manage roles, and Tax profile needs Manage tax settings. Sign-in security and Apps are open to everyone, because they only change your own account or device.
Change a setting in 3 steps
- 1
Search for it by name
Settings → Search settings
Type a few words in the search box, for example return window, COD or logo. Cards that match stay on screen.
Below the box a Settings list also shows every single setting whose name matches, with the page it lives on.
- 2
Open the result
A card, or a row in the Settings list
Tap a row to jump straight to that setting on its page. Tap a card to open the whole page.
Nothing matches? The page offers Advanced settings, which lists every store setting in one place.
- 3
Change it
The setting's own page
Switches save the moment you flip them. Amounts, numbers and text have a Save button next to them. You see a short "saved" message each time.
Changed your mind? Most rows have Reset, which puts the setting back to the default.

- Search settings
- Searches card titles and the name of every single setting. Every word you type must match.e.g. Type cod limit → Cash on delivery, plus the COD limit per buyer row.
- Settings
- The list that appears under the search box. Each row is one setting and the page it lives on. Tap it to jump to that row.e.g. Return window · Returns & cancellations.
- Developer
- Tools for connecting other software, backups and the change history. A shop that only sells and bills rarely needs them, except Export & backup.e.g. Your accountant's software reads orders with an API key.
- Team & security
- Team adds people. Roles & permissions decides what each role can see and do. Sign-in security protects your own login. Admin sessions shows who is signed in.e.g. Add a cashier in Team and give them the Cashier role.
- Advanced settings
- Every store setting in one searchable list, including ones that have no friendlier page.e.g. Use it when search on this page finds nothing.
Not sure what a setting does? Open its page and press ? for that page's guide. Every page explains its own settings, with examples in rupees.

Common questions
- I can't find a setting. Where is it?
- Type its name in Search settings. If no card or row matches, tap Advanced settings in the message under the box. It lists every store setting.
- Why do some cards say I don't have access?
- Your role lacks that page's permission. Most pages need Manage settings. Ask the owner to add it to your role in Roles & permissions.
- Do I need to press Save after every change?
- Switches and pick-lists save straight away. Amounts, numbers and text fields have their own Save button next to them.
- Will a change affect orders already placed?
- Usually not. Placed orders keep the prices, tax and rules they were placed with. New orders follow the new setting. Each page says so where it matters.
- How do I undo a change?
- Tap Reset on that setting's row to go back to the default, or set the old value again. The Audit log shows who changed what and when.
- Which settings should a new store do first?
- Store identity, Branding, Payments, Tax profile, Shipping & delivery and Team. The dashboard's getting-started list walks you through them.
- Can my staff change settings?
- Only if their role has Manage settings. The Manager and Cashier roles don't have it. Owners have every permission.
- Is there a Hindi version of settings?
- The help, tips and many screens are in Hindi when your admin language is Hindi. Some settings pages are still in English.
